Microchipping involves inserting a microchip underneath your pet’s skin, similar to the way an injection is administered. The chip itself carries information about your pet such as address and telephone number to allow anybody with a scanner to identify them when they’re found and reunite them with their owner. The procedure takes just a few minutes; is very safe; and your pet will experience very little pain.
We recommend microchipping as a more reliable way of identifying your pet, should they be lost, as collars and ID tags can be removed, making it difficult to prove ownership.
