Hospital Managers : Hong Kong

Veterinarian: Hong Kong Vacancy for Hospital Managers in numerous locations in Hong Kong.

The role will involve the management of  the hospital, its staff and the facilities and supporting the Veterinary team who are responsible for clinical management.

Ideal candidates will have experience in service or retail industries, and have had responsibility for stock management, payroll, rota management and delivery of a high standard of client care.

Some experience with animals is desirable, empathy with pet owners essential

 

Finance Manager

To assist Head of Finance in overseeing and running daily operations of finance department
 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the accounting team to handle the daily accounting duties to ensure the records are accurate and under the requirements of internal controls and accounting procedures;
  • Supervise the accounting team in month end and year end closing, and review of accounts schedules and intercompany reconciliations;
  • Responsible for update of yearly consolidation of financial statements for year end audit purpose;
  • Responsible for implementation of accounting software (Flex System)
  • Responsible for cash flow monitoring
  • Assist in the update of cash flow forecast, monthly management report and cash flow forecast
  • Responsible for statutory reporting;
  • Liaison with other departments when required to improve finance and accounting operational efficiency as well as accuracy of accounting records;
  • Assist in the company secretarial works assigned by the Head of Finance
  • Assist in dealing with the external auditors and company secretaries in relation to statutory audit, company secretarial and tax matters;
  • Adhere to timeline and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met;
  • Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards as well as taxation and company laws/regulations
  • Handle other ad hoc tasks as required; and
  • Report to Head of Finance and ensure daily operations of finance department meets the needs of the company.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
  • Qualified Member of professional CPA association;
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash-flow monitoring and internal accounting controls;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge in Flex System is preferred but not essential;
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, detailed-oriented and independent
  • Fast paced, passionate and hands on with a positive attitude;
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure and a good team player.

 

Accounts Clerk

To assist Finance Manager/Accountant in performing daily accounting functions
 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare receipts, payments, accrual and journal vouchers.
  • Check staff expenses claims.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  • Assist the accounts receivables and payable cycle: update of invoice log and unpaid list, checking of suppliers’ invoices, checking of monthly statement from suppliers, update of summary of payments, update of daily revenue receipts and reconciliation of cash/credit receipts
  • Input data into accounting software
  • Assist in month end closing and preparation of accounting schedules.
  • Handle other ad hoc assignments


Requirements:

  • F.7 or above in accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge in Flex System is a plus
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible and detail oriented

Night Vet to join the team at Doctors Beck & Stone

IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site and remote technical support for all IT equipment in head office and all business divisions in HK and Singapore – both software and hardware

Support end-users for all IT issues and respond to queries in a timely manner

Monitor and support all installed system and infrastructure including PC computer, network and security system

Manage email, anti-spam and virus protection.

Manage hardware and software inventories

Liaise with vendors/suppliers and other IT personnel in carrying out the support services

Report to Head of Finance and Administration and ensure the IT support function meets the needs of the company.

Assist in gathering business data from different databases, summarizing/analyzing collected data and providing timely reports to management for decision making

Identify, diagnose, and resolve computer, system and network issues

Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Diploma holder or above of Computer Studies, Information Technology or related discipline

At least 3 year or above of relevant experience

Willing to be part of transformation team to come up with new ideas to further improve the level of services delivered to users

Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently

Working experience related to clinic IT services support is an advantage

Technical knowledge in following is a plus: Microsoft Dynamic NAV systems / Pathway Laboratory Information Management System
